What is Reiki?
Through a series of hand positions, the Reiki Practitioner allows for the flow of energy through their body. The client's body then draws off the amount of energy that is required. Reiki energy may be used in concert with other treatments and is a proven, non-invasive form of energy therapy.
Reiki is a Japanese holistic, light-touch, energy-based modality which functions as a support mechanism to the body to enhance and accelerate the body's innate healing ability.
Benefits of Reiki
Reiki and the Life Path
Because Reiki energy heals whatever needs healing, what happens in a session cannot be predicted. We often don't realize that our problems actually stem from places other than we think. Some level of healing will always occur, even if you are not aware. However, if someone is terminal, Reiki will not prevent their passing over or hold them back, but it eases the process.
When we are relaxed, stress-free, we are able to restore our natural ability to heal. Long term practice of whole-body reiki will restore the general condition of the body. It will open the energy channels and this will allow the body to deal properly and naturally with stress and build-up toxins and cope with anxiety and depression.
When a person is in good health, regular therapy will increase the bodies built-in defences. This will manifest itself as confidence and outward harmony in dealing with everyday events. The person will gain a positive outlook on life.
Reiki will also provide additional energy required to recover from illness. A Reiki healing session can induce an extremely comfortable state of being that can bring alteration in the clients consciousness. It can be used as complementary therapy. It complements and enhances the health care the patient receives in the hospital or from other health care providers.
Reiki will always go where it is needed.
